Unto [uhn·too] is a multidisciplinary studio based in Taipei, founded in 2019. Their work is characterized by drawing a close lens on nature, using the significance of objects as cultural conduits, and reintroducing things in a way that we often might otherwise overlook.
Perceiving their role as a bridge between craft, industry, object, and user, they are interested in the link between people and the nature we live in including the historical, political and social forces that have shaped our environment. Unto seeks to rebuild the relationship with everyday objects, intending to bring new dialogues and perspectives unto this rapidly changing world.
